Intimacy with God |

Our Heavenly Bridegroom (the Eternal God) yearns for His bride to be intimate with Him. Only when His bride (the church / His body on the earth) is intimate with Him, can He give of Himself to her. If the church (followers of Jesus Christ) is not giving birth to new souls, the bride is not intimate with the Heavenly Bridegroom. If the bride loves the Bridegroom, she will be intimate Him. Conception can only happen in intimacy, and without conception there is no new life. In Samuel Ch 1, Hannah being barren poured out her soul before the Lord to have a child year after year (1:7, 15), until God gave her a son (1:20). So many Christians are willing to live barren without giving birth to God’s purposes for their life.
Conception is just the beginning; receiving God’s holy burden is just the beginning. Then we carry it in our hearts in prayer and daily life just as a pregnant mother carries the life within her. Let all that you receive from your intimacy with Jesus Christ keep growing. Guard it well! There are too many spiritual miss-carriages among God’s people. Carry His purposes to full term! Once you give birth to God’s dream for you/ His purposes/ harvest of souls/ Revival Fire…, the journey is still starting. Just as with parents of a new child, the journey of raising the new child to full maturity just started. Paul said in Galatians 4:19 ‘My little children in whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you.’ So many Revivals started and God’s people were unable to carry them. May God teach us how to carry His purposes & dreams for this generation of souls.
